| All our decking subframes are constructed as follows, and are the parts of your deck that are generally hidden from view: Piles are H5 ground treated 100x100 Radiata Pine, sunk into the ground and set in 300mm concrete. Bearers are H3.1 100x75 Radiata Pine checked into the piles and fixed with 12mm dia galvanished nut and bolts. Joists are H3.1 100x50 Radiata Pine fixed to the bearers with galvanished "Z" nails.
